Yoga Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis

  • Hatha yoga - Classic still and flow practices with an emphasis on understanding correct alignment, building strength and stability in poses
  • Yoga somatics - Gentle holistic movements which help to release long held tensions, improve your posture and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, from within
  • Pranayama Breathing practices - we’ll learn specialist techniques to harness the healing power of the breath
  • Guided deep relaxations - Blissful guided body scans and yoga nidras to help fully let go (relaxation is a crucial aspect of our yoga practice as proven by my students who often sleep peacefully at the end of a session!)
  • Restorative yoga using bolsters, cushions and supports
  • Introduction to Chakras - we will bring our focus to these energy centres, learning about their different attributes and benefits.
  • Guided mindfulness meditation - taking time to focus inwardly, these meditations draw on our tranquil environment, build a quiet confidence and sense of inner peace.

Fantastic retreat with Zoe at Kintra. With a backdrop of ever-changing Scottish weather through picture windows or on moss-cushioned grass in sunny spells, Zoe has led us systematically, gently and always patiently to asanas that minutes before seemed to require hours in a sweaty gym!


Meditations spent relaxing, wrapped in blankets , accompanied by poetry in her melodic voice, birdsong, wind in the trees, with evening sunshine on our faces.

 

Wonderful trips to beaches only a local might know; Zoe’s invaluable knowledge of secret swimming spots & local flora and fauna making afternoon outings a joy.

Fortified by Anna’s amazing veggie meals, the whole week was jam packed with nourishment for mind, body and soul. Feeling refreshed and restored!
